Shelby + Adam - part 1

Temperatures are slowly rising, trees are budding, birds are chirping - you know what that means! Wedding season has officially returned!
You may remember the very photogenic Shelby and Adam from their engagement shoot a few months ago - well now they're Mr & Mrs! Their gorgeous spring wedding took place a few weeks ago, and was the perfect way to kick off my wedding season.
I started off my day with Shelby and her girls. Her dress was gorgeous - and was the exact dress I almost bought for my wedding! Well, sort of - mine was going to be more champagne-y since my wedding was in the fall. Anyway - here it is in all it's glory!

I'm a sucker for reverse box pleats :)

isn't she beautiful! she definitely made my job easy.

I love the detail on the bodice - I just love this shot :)

I know I already posted this one, but I still really like it! It was so windy, and it kicked up her veil in just the perfect way - I'm still shocked I got it :)

not only is she gorgeous - she's fun! Adam's one lucky guy :)

they picked the perfect little quaint spot for their ceremony - Old Peace Chapel in Defiance, MO. It's part of the historic Boonesfield Village - a beautiful location!

gotta love the sparkles :)

the ring bearer cracked me up all day! at the rehearsal he fell and cut his forehead, but that didn't stop him from running like a maniac all over the place :)

so cute!

the light in the chapel was gorgeous!

he likes being in front of the camera :)

the light is strong, but there's just something about this image I love!

I see this look every weekend - all little girls see the bride as a princess and are completely enamored with her :) I love that look!

introducing Mr & Mrs!

their cake - simple, beautiful, and tasty :)

Adam's a police officer, so they showed up handcuffed to each other! they were red and fuzzy - that was interesting to explain to the pastor when he saw them out of context :)

They are truly a perfect couple - every time I'm with them I feel it. Congratulations you guys!

**stay tuned tomorrow for pics of the couple! We're heading to the gulf coast for a short vacation this weekend, but I'll be sure to post the pics before I leave :)
