Lynn + John are married!!

About a month ago I shot Lynn and John's lovely wedding at Bogey Hills Country Club. It was kinda dreary and cold so everything was inside, but the day was just gorgeous. It was an intimate, cozy wedding and I enjoyed every minute of it! I won't sit and babble - on to the pictures!

I love her color scheme - it's so classic and beautiful!

the first ring shot, courtesy of the Christmas tree in the lobby :)

ring shot #2 - the reception was at the same place as the ceremony and they already had the tables set up. I really like this one!

a Christmas wedding! Love it!

I love these getting ready shots - the one on the right looks like a perfume ad. Lynn's so gorgeous!

she's definitely a stunner!

Their daughter stole the show as always :) Of course, she's a toddler, so I have a lot of pics of her walking away.

since we weren't driving all over the place, we had some extra time to play around with the light - what do you think?

John looking very dapper :)

this one makes me smile - it's so sweet! I was going to end the post with this one, but wait - there's more. . . .

the Worm!!!! I love when it shows up at weddings :)

Thanks guys for being so patient! I hope you had a merry Christmas and you will have a happy New Year!

Our Christmas Card!

I wasn't going to post our Christmas card for this year, but I saw that Bobbi + Mike did, and I wanna be cool like them, so here it is! Some of you have already seen it [a lot of friends and families read the blog] so you get to see it again :)

Have a happy New Year!

Happy Holidays!!!!!!

It may be a few days late, but I thought I'd post a holidays picture. I couldn't share this before Christmas, since this lovely photo of my kids is in my Mom's 2009 Sadie calendar [a tradition 3 years running]. I'm uploading photos right now from last night's wedding, and I though you'd like to see this:

The December pic from Mom's calendar. I actually bought these hats thinking it'd be funny and cute if the dogs were wearing them. I obviously don't know my dogs well enough :) I still like the outcome, though!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

what's that under my tree?

So I got my Christmas present a little early yesterday - check 'em out! Aren't they gorgeous!?!

Yeah. They're pretty awesome.

**yeah, I'm kinda embarrassed about how long it's been since my last post. I still have 2 weddings to blog, and another to shoot this Saturday, so January will be packed with lots of eye candy :)

Happy Holidays, everybody!!!

Alisa & Mike's Big Day!

I shot Alisa & Mike's engagement session a few months ago [with the super adorable Derbie] and a few weeks ago I shot their gorgeous wedding! It was a bit chilly [it was November, after all!] but the light was gorgeous ad the wedding party was a ton of fun! Again I had the pleasure of photographing with Beth Berry, and there were lots of great details to shoot. All in all it was a pretty good day :)

her dress was classy and elegant, with beautiful beading - If I were to get married again, it'd probably be in a dress like this one!

orchids always make a bouquet better :)

The ceremony was held at the very beautiful Christ the King Church in U City

isn't the church beautiful?!?

definitely a favorite :)

it was cold [about 40 degrees] but the light was just too pretty to pass up!

I love this shot of her! She's so pretty!

her cake was beautiful and surrounded by photos of her family - I love it! And how about that topper! It was her grandmother's.

the reception, held at Debonaire, was very warm and comfortable - the perfect atmosphere for conversation. Love the chiavari chairs!

The End! Thanks guys!

Erica + Mike + Soulard

I had the pleasure of spending the last gorgeous Sunday afternoon of the year with Erica and Mike in Soulard. We had a great time roaming around and taking some awesome photographs. I love this couple! They love to laugh and were natural models :) Here are a few:

Erica laughs all the time - I really like that about her :)

I really like this one :)

I love how this one is classic and romantic - kinda like Soulard :)

Linkit was nice, but still a little chilly - so we stopped in here for a beer and to chat for awhile

they fit together really well - don't they?

Thanks guys for a great afternoon! I can't wait for your gorgeous May wedding!
