I've been a little busy. . .

I realized today that it's been 5 days since I've posted last - I'm sorry! It's been a little busy over here :) I shot my last wedding of the season this past Saturday in Columbia, MO [it was great to be back for a little while] and have been editing my butt off for the last week [or seven]. Some of the sessions I've shot have been babies and kids for past clients. Here are a few from those sessions:

First up is baby Alex at 5 weeks:

this one makes me smile :)

Next up little Jackson:

hahaaaa! he's making a cartoon face :)

And his baby sister Juliette, at 4 weeks here:
so peaceful. so pudgy :)

Tomorrow it's back to regular wedding-y stuff :)

Ali is 1!

I've taken a lot of photos of this cutie - at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and now 1 year!

such pretty blue eyes!

seriously mom. pick. me. up.

I love these two :)

my favorite from the day :)

the cutest little Halloween costume! I know she doesn't look thrilled, but she actually does like it. It was the end of the session and she wasn't happy that I was still sticking the big black box in her face :)

Thanks Matt & Tara!

chillin' with the kiddos

A few weeks ago [yes - I'm that far behind!] Brandon's little sister and brother, Sydney & Barrett, came up to visit me and hang out for a day! We hung out at a local park, ate lunch with big bro Brandon, and played with the dogs. Something fun before Syd had to head back to school. I of course brought my camera :)

"cheeeese!" He knows what cameras are for.

new places are fun for exploring . . .

and good for jumping.

if you don't get what you want, obviously they can't hear you. say it louder.

Syd looks really peaceful and calm here - pretty unusual [and I swear I didn't pose her!]

this is more like it.

How does a frustrated toddler convey that he would rather not have his photo taken?
"no cheese!"
Fine! I didn't want to take your photo anyway!

. . . later on, back at my house. . . .
Sydney wouldn't stop talking and Sadie yawned. I love this photo! It says so much about both of them. . .

awwwww!!

Expect lots and lots of posts coming up - I finally have a little room to breathe and catch up. Sooo - look out for lots of eye candy:
Codi & Jon - wedding
Amos - puppy!
Emilie & Wes - wedding
Laura & Pat - engagement
Ashley - senior
Coby & Mike - wedding
Kristina & Tim - engagement

the weddings will most likely be BIG posts, since I've got nothing but positive feedback about the mammoth posts! Thanks so much for answering my question!

Caraline

Caraline may look familiar - I've photographed her before. She's still cute and still bubbly and giggly, but now with more curls :) Check out this cuteness:

Shes 3.

'rraaaaawwwrrrr!'

Lynn & Carson

I met up with Lynn and Carson a few weeks ago for a Father's Day session [he already knows, so I'm not letting the cat out of the bag!] We roamed around beautiful Main St in St. Charles and got some fun pics.

[gazebos are good for jumping, in case you didn't already know]

The End! Thanks for the lovely morning!

Blythe + Braelynn

I recently had a fun session with a good friend and her twins, Blythe and Braelynn - two of the spunkiest 8-year-olds I know :)

Blythe on the left, Braelynn on the right

that's more like it :)

they both like to give me funny faces, unprovoked :)

ha! I really like this one :)

both girls had a ton of shots of them, so it's Mom's turn!

awwww :)

time to . . .TICKLE MOM!!!

The End!

Shanna, I hope you're as happy as I am with these! I think I captured their goofy and lively spirits :)
