Micah turned 1!

A few weeks ago [jeez I'm behind!] I got to attend the first birthday party for Micah - the son of a couple of friends. Baby + cake = a good time :)

It's such a compliment when artistic people choose me to photograph them - I love that! Jess is a very talented interior designer, with the job I only dreamed of years ago [well, ok, I truly love what I do, but I still dream of having her job!]
She got us into a fab loft downtown for her engagement photos, and I got some great unique shots thanks to her!

Christina + Matt

Christina was my very first paying client when I started my business, and from the first time I met her family, they've welcomed me as one of their own. I've really enjoyed working with her, from her family photos, to her engagement photos, and now her wedding. She and Matt are such great people, it was a joy to photograph their wedding! Not to mention they got married 10 minutes from my house - such a treat :)

Her accessories and dress had a lovely vintage feel - she even got a pretty birdcage veil from the antique store. I may steal it.

perfect spring bouquets - peonies and ranunculus - they smelled amazing, too!

Colton

I was able to sneak a few pics of Colton at his mom and dad's engagement session, but he wasn't feeling it that day :) He had his chance in front of the camera though, when I did a session just with him downtown Ste. Genevieve.

After a while he had enough of the posing business, so we went to play at the park!
